Signature Experiences

Moments you will only find in Bhutan, shared with the people who live here.

These are the moments our guests remember most. Add any of them to a tour, or build your whole journey around them.

From our hometown

Tamshing, Bumthang

Our family comes from Tamshing, a village in Bhutan's spiritual heartland. These experiences are ours to share, and you will not find them with anyone else.

Dinner with our family

Spend an evening at our family home in Thimphu. Share home-cooked dishes such as ema datshi and red rice, hear stories of growing up in Tamshing, and leave as friends rather than guests.

A day in Tamshing village

Visit Tamshing Lhakhang, founded by the saint Pema Lingpa in 1501, with someone who grew up beside it. Try on the heavy chain-mail coat said to be forged by the saint himself, then make buckwheat noodles (puta) with our neighbours.

Tamshing Phala Choepa

Celebrate our hometown festival in the courtyard of Tamshing Lhakhang, alongside our family and neighbours. A small, intimate festival that few visitors ever see.
